The largest 3DCP commercial structure in the United States. That should be enough to show the accolades, and there is a great deal we learned from this project. We (nor anyone) had ever printed 8,000 sq ft with 22 ft walls in a design that required the printer to move 15+ times. In addition, this was printed in a seismic 4 zone requiring tons of reinforcement, and in August in Tennessee where temperatures reached 110+ degrees on the pad. The first 2 weeks did not go well, we blew out hoses, burnt out team members, and generally struggled to fight the weather conditions. Then we had a breakthrough. By going nocturnal, team members printed overnight, and this allowed COO Chris Vaughn to perfect our water temperature control system. Printing went smoother, and we completed our first project for Walmart. Walmart saw enough of our success, and knew that if we could sustain it, the next project would go even better.

This project marked the beginning of many important relationships between Alquist and FMGI, Walmart, and Hugg & Hall.
